Product Description ;
Perlite is a soil-free growing medium that has helped to add aeration to soil mixes for years. It's created by air-puffing volcanic glass to create an extremely light and porous material. It has one of the best oxygen retention levels of all growing media because of how porous it is. Its weight can be a downside in certain hydroponic systems where water interacts directly with the growing media, causing it to shift around and wash away. Because of this, perlite is rarely ever used alone - typically it is mixed with coco coir, soil, or vermiculite. Benefits of Perlite: Lightweight High oxygen retention level

Perlite is also most commonly used as substrate in recirculating hydroponic systems, G&N bato bucket + clay pebbles +perlite is perfect for tomato, cucumber, pepper etc.
Application:
1. Horticultural Applications
In horticultural applications, perlite is used throughout the world as a componet of soilless growing mixed where it provides aeration and optimum moisture retention for superior plant growth. Other horticultural applications for perlite are as a carrier for fertilizer, herbicides and pesticides and for peletizing seed.
2. Construction applications
Perlite is widely used as a loose fill insulation in masonry construction. Other construction applications include chimney linings, under-floor insulation, gypsum boards, paint texturing, ceiling tiles, and roof insulation boards etc.
3. Industrial Application
Ranging from high performance fillers for plastics to cements for petroleum,water and geothermal wells
